Inspired by the work of Thomas Wilfred on view in the special exhibition Lumia: Thomas Wilfred and the Art of Light, our team created a three-phase participatory installation on view in the Gallery’s Jan and Frederick Mayer Lobby. The work investigates the synthesis of light and signal through analog and digital means, engaging the organic evolution of signal across different mediums. The piece begins with a projection of a two-dimensional image and evolves into a fully immersive experience for the visitor. The piece was offered in conjunction with the special exhibition Lumia: Thomas Wilfred and the Art of Light.
